Introduction

What are Asian Ball-Jointed-Dolls (BJD) ?
They are mainly made in Korea or Japan, and come in different sizes and moulds. They are made from polyurethane resin. The name ball-jointed refers to their joints move. They can range from around 10cm to 70cm tall

Where can I buy one BJD ?
There are many websites were BJD's can be purchased. The majority of the time, when you purchase a doll, they will come naked and bald, but usually include a free pair of eyes, made from either glass, silicone or acrylic. For an extra fee, you can have your dolls face professionally painted, but wigs, clothing and shoes are all purchased separately. You can buy fully clothed dolls, but these tend to be of very limited stock, with a much higher price tag.
